Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Key Account Manager to oversee and manage our most valuable client accounts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in account management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders. This role requires strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and a customer-centric approach to ensure client satisfaction and business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts, understanding their needs and ensuring they receive exceptional service.
  • Account Growth: Identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts by understanding client goals and proposing tailored solutions.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop strategic account plans that align with company objectives and client expectations.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with internal teams (e.g., sales, marketing, product development) to ensure client needs are met and any issues are resolved promptly.
  • Performance Monitoring: Regularly review account performance, providing detailed reports and insights to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profit while meeting client expectations.
  • Customer Feedback: Gather and analyze customer feedback to drive continuous improvement in products and services.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends and competitors to provide strategic insights and recommendations.
  • Budget Management: Manage budgets for key accounts, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in key account management, sales, or a related role.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
    • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key clients.
    • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
    • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Working Hours:

  • Our USA business hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Arizona time.
  • Hours for some departments may be fixed or vary depending on tasks/projects.
  • Billable teams (Bookkeepers, Tax preparers, Customer care, and admins) expect to work longer hours per week during tax season, and weekends could be required.
  • Availability for on-call emergencies outside normal working hours (only when needed).
